Cool Australia Just Keeps on Growing

Cool Australia is steadily making our mark on education in Australia. We are forming new partnerships every week with organisations who are doing great things to educate our next generations for a sustainable future. So what is a sustainable future? It’s a sustainable economy, sustainable jobs, sustainable business, sustainable farming, sustainable oceans, sustainable soil, sustainable forests – in short Cool Australia is investing in the future that we all want to live in.

Cool Australia brings real world learning’s into the heart of the national curriculum by embedding topics like water, waste, energy and biodiversity into a maths, English, science, history or geography learning activity (lesson). These learning activities are all aligned with the national curriculum and are free to access for teachers from K-10.

Cool Australia are the key curriculum partner for national events that includes: Enviroweek, National Tree Day, Clean Up Schools Day, Earth Hour, Water Week and Recycling Week. We provide teachers with tuning-in learning activities leading up to events, learning activities for during the events and reflection activities post event.

  •  120,264 learning activities downloaded in the past year
  •  $16.8m in time saved for teachers in the past year
  •  340,000 students engaged in the past year
  •  20,500 monthly visitors to Cool Australia website
  •  14,300 fans on Facebook
  •  1,236 followers on Twitter
  •   Signed three year deal with our coolest partner Bendigo Bank
